About This Poem
Wonderful Savior
Help me to leave this world behind
Its troubles, trials, and cares
To take refuge in Your arms
Protected from the enemy’s snares
No greater love could I ask for
Sweet grace and mercy reign
You took my place upon that Cross
Death’s defeat became my gain
I thank You, Wonderful Savior
Counselor, Redeemer, and Friend
My heart became Your dwelling place
Yours forever, for time without end
