I Will Not Break
I Will Not Break
I will not break
I will not flake
I won’t bake
My baby
Like a cake
Nor outdoor grill
Or microwave
I won’t cook
My baby
Like a steak
I will not drink
I will not think
Of drowning
My baby
In the sink
Nor swimming pools,
Tubs, or lakes
I won’t suffocate
Him, or
Throw him away
I will not shake
I will not smother
My crying
Baby, or
Make him suffer
I’ll protect my baby
And keep him safe
Because I’m his
Mother
I will not break
