the cross

capturing a stunning argument
foiled with agony and wrath
with soiled cloth and rotten flesh
peeling skin and soft bones

covered in the stench of blood
wet sand and gravel
a sudden calling reaching
from beyond

shattered fences
with crawling vines
beseeching everything
one was not willing to except

blatenly before me while mauve
tassles waved about inflamed
torches igniting senses
of raw emotions covered

in his wildness a willingness
calmly tamed moved and yet
the jestfull findings
filled the empty traces
where life once resided
