The field was full of tents, fire bathes the night
each warrior grasps his women to his chest
as canvas caste shadows dance upright.
The horrors of the day soon acquiesce
blood lust is dampened, life is blessed
with softer swords and gentler pricks and bites.
Love sought to bring the warriors Venus's rites.
As naked as, the borning day each pairing
brings, screams of passion and much to excite
for life has yet again won, this ensnaring.
