Fallen-Down-the-Rabbit's-Hole

I'm staring into Hades itself
Growing fear engulfs any rational
thought
when I look at it.
Saddened by my constant failure,
No longer can I pretend to be okay.

Dread fills my stomach as my
sick, twisted mind feels satisfaction
I can hear the skin rip on my wrist
as I feel it's teeth
Dig in.

The light plays against it's metallic
surface
Its a shimmery death all wrapped
up in a bow.
I've been tricked by a deadly illusion
How can I stop it once
I've started?

Pinpricks of pain begin to break
down my happiness.
I can only stare in horror
As my life slowly
stains the porcelain
a lovely crimson.

Yes, it sneers at me when
it leaves my fingertips.
When it falls, I fall
Yes, indeed,
Fallen down the rabbit's hole.

Fallen and failed,
Pushed to my limit,
I've allowed it to
take over my mind
and my life.

My fingers stroke the cool metallic
blade
as I grip it's black handle.
I know it's time for the biting to
begin.
Tears mix with my blood
as it flows down the drain.

It gives out a sick chuckle when I
cry,
Telling me that I'm no one's
concern.
Yes, maybe he's right.
It's time to end
my misery.

Look's as if my war's
Finally through. I've been
Staring down Death for a while now.
Waiting for him to take me away.
Yes, I have fallen down the rabbit's
hole.
