grasshopper spit
supervisor is hannibal ugly today,
must be tired from jumping through hoops
on bony knees
trying to please the unpleasable
being squeezed
just to climb a rungless ladder
of cackle and clack
everything out of its being
brown- acidic
i'll do it a favour
stay out of its way
slide on home
wash away his grasshopper spit
