BED BUG BITES

BED BUGS BITES

It's time to fix the mattress
fluffy pillows and blankets,
enough room for just one more.
BITE ME' if you can!

Swat after, swat, after swat!
Red itchy skin, what the h3ll!
The open breeze feels real good,
crawling too bite NATE!

NOTE~ I've never been bitten by these insects,
I just love the way my mother would always say...
"Don't let the bed bugs bite!"

Contest: "Bite me!"

**I bite Nathan, who'll probably will love it ;-)**...LOL...

Hi Linda, It looks like most of us were told this same thing when we were young. I never worried about bed bugs until I was walking down the high street with my mum and there was a huge bill-board with a huge picture of a bed mite. Gordon bennet, scared me a bit that one. Being young I Immediately thought this was the size of the things. I enjoyed the read. It takes one back. I say bite on. Who's the worst bug, a mite, or the guy who wants to hog all the covers on a cold night. Yours always MIKE

Very nice twist at the end-- yeah, I don't think I have been bitten by bed bugs before, don't want to be bitten by those either--... thanks for the thanksgiving greetings, I don't get to be active here as much, but it's nice to get comments-- happy thanksgiving as well to you, pd! Enjoy your day with family and friends!

How I enjoy poems about bugs and insects. And the spelling "h3ll" I love it. I was going to use a @symbol when using such words but I love your spelling much better. Would you mind if i adopted this usage in my poems?
