About This Poem
Time
For the alarm went off and I awoke
But
I went back to sleep after a few seconds
For time passed and I felt a tap on my shoulder and no one was there
For I opened my eyes
I looked at the time and knew I was late
But
I knew what I had to do before anything else which was give my God rightfully what He deserved which was His praise !
I asked God to give me the time I needed to give Him his praise.
I stood still and read my sword and I sang a verse to see me through the day.
For I knew if I chose not to put Him first my day would not be right!
After reading my sword and singing Him praise it seemed as though time never slipped away.
I still got to work on time therefore I know no matter what He will make a way!
