Atmospheric blizzard chills downrightly entire field
Gelid herbage in jeopardy 
keeps lengthening mortal numbness
On poignant quietude
raging snow threatens unprotected vegetation
Wintry Xmas... yonder zest

    Hey way to go here. I think this would be VERY difficult for you to do and you really pulled it off quite well, Ruben. I mean, to do an ABC poem for me in Spanish would not be easy. Your sentences were pretty well put together compared to some that I saw. BIG congrats.

    What a great ABC. Should do well in the contest. Good luck my friend. I wasn't able to think of anything for Y and Z when I wrote mine. God Bless and thanks so much for reading my newest post "Plainly Speaking". Actually I speak from bitter experience there but it's good to know I have good company. (smile) People often take my words out of context simply because they don't think about what we are speaking about at the moment apply my words to the topic of the conversation. JB

    Ruben, this is quite a challenging contest and I must say you captured winter very well in true ABC form. I love the line "on poignant quietude. What a feeling I get when I read those words.     A great abc poem Ruben .. Somehow describing the cold weather making a disaster of vegetation.. A Wintry Xmas so in distance from that zest then states much more.. Charma
