Choice

Eyes on the prize for we paid the price
Free from the ghost’s of a life of crime
Confined to four wall’s for half my life
Confronting the past letting go
Finding the truth to set me free
Getting a second chance to make things right
To little to late to look back
Was done is done can’t be undone
Walking in a straight and narrow road
Were justice wont catch up to fine me
And take more year’s then month’s
Steel bars cold as ice
Time spend confronting my past mistake’s
Forgiveness is a hard pill to swallow
But I humble my self with my head held down
For those I have hurt and committed a crime
As I sit all alone in a square
A curt in of bars is what I stare
I have the rest of my life to bare
The burden of my poor choice’s
