About This Poem
Sometimes
Sometimes I wish to feel the bliss
The tender lips of my first kiss
And sit again up in that tree
Where he put sweet lips to me
I would stand outside his gate
No matter how long I had to wait
Sometimes we'd just talk a while
Lie in the grass, I loved his smile
Heartaches, laughter,had them too
Losing boyfriends, feeling so blue
But oh the passion I felt inside
Up and down, like a coaster ride
Making love the very first time
Think I'll keep that memory mine
Now I am in a different place
Memories cannot replace
Those feelings of so long ago
When young, and I did not know
