About This Poem
Two Sweethearts Journey On
A splendid soul my sweetheart has;
he walks each mile with me.
And when my journey's winding down
his love will keep me free.
Together we will travel on
just one step at a time.
He is the music of my heart;
the rhythm for my rhyme.
As each mile falls behind us now
we'll never be unsure.
Our love just grows in destiny;
it's wrapped up soft and pure.
So as I close my eyes tonight
I'll weave him into song.
He's my world now and always;
I'll sing him my life long.
