All I wanted
All I ever really wanted was to drink life from a well that didn’t run dry
I wanted to go to heaven
way up high in the sky
I wanted to make sure there wasn’t any doubt
that someday I would arrive
and they would let me inside
I would stay there for the rest of eternity
with everyone that was dear to me
and I would never even think about my former life
