Selene
My love, ink skies are sleep-deep
sparkling silver sliver seas;
light-spun lullabies will soothe,
night sings on my tongue.
I lie beside you and count
the bright seeds of our children
as soft petals of sleep fall
from flowering stars.
My crescent moon cradles you,
soft starlight strobes caress you,
kiss dark light, turn wrong to right.
Dream, and pay love's price.
