Very touching haiku. This reminds me of Unbroken, a book by Laura Hillenbrand.

Nikko,hi..... this reminds me of a dream i once had... but, instead of being dehydrated... my bed became a water bed... lol...kidding... wait that was no dream... okay..anyways.. back to your haiku.. I think water is the scariest thing around.. besides snakes.. very deep, i could never imagine taking my last breath surrounded by water.. i would surely die before dehydration... excellent poem..always..pd
