War

Mothers cry for fallen sons
The war is over they say
If Congress sent their young ones
Our troops would be home today

Rhonda, I like how you saw this from a mother's perspective. A sad truth, were it not for these never ending wars, sons would be home. Congrats on a very well deserved win, love

No, you are right. It's for Gwendolen's contest. Since I have been on this site, I've been rather sleep deprived and I'm still learning who is who. Although I have seen Dennie is quite tough, too. LOL

I do not like to write about politics either. This is the best I could do. I know Debbie is tough. I look at her contests as learning experiences. Nothing else to do!

Thanks for reading, Carol. Funny, I didn't feel like writing yesterday. Last night before bed I suddenly became inspired. Then, I was up until 2 am! I hope you have wonderful and inspired weekend as well. Blessings, Rhonda

I hate to write about anything political. It's all so polarizing, but war is awful no matter what side of the political fence you're on. Thanks, Erich! Blessings, Rhonda
