Worth waiting for

Quiet ripples move to shore
It’s still and calm, I’m waiting for more

A water lily rose, a splash and tremor
Anticipation sitting on a dock I adore

The lake glistens, subtlety cattails rustled
Rising mist in the morning light, awakened

Down you stroll like fog out of the sea
Rolling in the dawn air you encircle me

We mingle with the grass and dew
A picture I like of me and you

Great picture, Raskin. I'll add some gulls - my favorite bird - just for the noise. Come to think of it, this piece is so wonderfully quiet, let's leave the gulls out. Enjoyed mucho. daver
