This reminds me of dark chocolate (Belgian, of course ;-) ): initially it registers as bitter on your tongue but the longer it stays, the happier you are that it did. :-)

When most poets write, they tend to look to the 'complex', trying to give their writing that 'wow' effect. That is a mistake that you didn't fall into. I write a lot of Haiku's and have fallen into that trap many times. I view this work as a way to describe 'writers block' (which we have all had), but you did it in a simple way. That was the brilliance of this write. To write a Haiku about a complex subject and do it in a simple way, takes mad talent and you have it. Excellent write. S.R

This is nice. I stopped writing poetry long ago coz it is ' mistaken writing' but you just continue writing the sweet haikus, please don't stop

Oh, honey, this one is so sad. And a good haiku, too. I do not believe in mistaken writing. Every write is an experience, a feeling remembered. Whether it is publishable, missed the proper syllable mark, broke form, dazzled no one but our friends... it is enough that we let that out. We can hone if we choose, or just treat poetry like skinnydipping! Now, a challenge, if or whenever you are ready. I have the last line of a haiku for you. the line is: welcome home haiku. Your haiku misses you. ;-)
