Awakening

Breathing strained, body jumping, waking deep in thought
Overwhelming intoxication, searching to find my bearing
His caress I still feel, his scent in the darkness is sought
Grasping the sheet for some control, listening for his voice so caring
His hold on me so strong it transcends reality
Surrounding me, reaching through the very essence of my being
Holding me, stroking me; leaving me blind to reason, led by need
I feel his breath on my neck his fingers down my back; all restraints he’s freeing
Awake now, aware he’s not beside me, but wanting him still
A desire only he controls as it is of only his creation
The jumping stronger, I feel him inside me; I have no will
My temperature rising, my grip tightening, breathing harder…elation

Still master of words and capturing moments, but this piece seems to be to personal to be released.

Nice set of descriptive couplets. A pleasure to read.

It is exciting to see the replenishment of new poetry here everyday when I log on. I enjoy the diverse poetry so I am never bored by most of what I read. I am happy to have read your poetry this morning Florestine. I hope that you might be able to find the time to read some of the other poetry here also. Love, Carol
