Mute

Silence wraps itself around my senses Soundless visions tiptoe through my mind In my world, sound has been suspended I hear your voice only with my eyes And quietly, with my hands I speak

So many that hear don't listen because they're too wrapped up in what they want to say, but like you say so wonderfully here, a mute listens with their eyes and mind and therefore learns more than we. BTW to follow up on Robert--"There's a sign post up ahead, next stop..."

This reminds me of an hour-long episode of the Twilight Zone which had the same title. Actress Ann Jillian appeared there as a little girl named Ilsa. These five lines are very descriptive.

I would have liked to see that. I was a big Twilight Zone fan.
