Rainbow Lorikeets

In summer showers
sunlight breaks into rainbows
As lorikeet's play

Glad you enjoyed my poem, Bren. I wrote both of those this morning, so they are hot off the press so to speak. Hope you had a wonderful day. We are still getting heaps of rain here. Thank God we live up high with views of Noosa Beach, so don't get flooded here. God bless, Maureen

In Australia they are one of our native parrots that have lovely rainbow colors all over them- they are a very playful bird and noisy. I shall try and put some photo's into my photo space. I took many photo's of them from my mothers garden once when I visited her in Bundaberg, Qld, Australia.
