The Tree

                                                         0
                                                      Tree
                                                    Stands
                                                    Naked
                                                   Skeletal
                                        Some nut's old shells stay
                                 Some mistletoe still, squirrel's nest
The soul is now bare for all to see in its winter

In honor of Brian Strand

Looks like a good example of a fibonacci poem. Those types are not easy to write.

This is a great display of an awesome write! I'm not familiar with the Fibonacci form but I get the general idea from this poem! I like how your described the tree and its winter condition! Still having the remnants of Christmas through the mistletoe displaying this previous holiday! How bare it is during the winter months, perfect Sara! I love the poem, awesome work!!
