Everlasting Peace
I see the rooftops I see the trees
I’m falling down on bended knee
we all have time to live a dream
I’m going farther I’m going deep
I see the oceans I see the sea
there were so many things I hadn’t seen
and there were so many things I thought you could show me
but you didn’t show me
everlasting peace
and my road started twisting in different directions
and I thought there was no way I’d go to heaven
but maybe that’s the one place I really belong
that which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
this place is long but there is a place that’s longer
and it goes on and on
and on and on
