Mercy for the ugly one

The sky
like an unspoken word
the mirror
the eyes
tired from the lonely nights
on strange beds
the illusive death
green
copy of itself
by the sidewalk
and the enemy bullets

snow in sorrow
a stepmother's love
burning slowly
in a cold fire
begging mercy
for the ugly one

instead of a heart
she has a dove

beautiful inside...
