About This Poem

Peace on Earth

P	eace lives in the hearts of those who believe
E	very life is precious, bearing the spirit of light
A	lleviate pain and hatred wherever it’s perceived
C	Leave to simple truths often hidden from sight
E	ven wisemen, at times, fall prey to haughty pride

O	nly humility can stand against the tide
N	one is exempt from temptation’s lure

E	ach one is broken and in need of a cure
A	ll Children of Light will be accounted for
R	each for the prize that waits in store
T	he inspiration of Heaven's breath
H	earts reflecting genuine peace on earth

Annalise, you have the makings of an admirable acrostic poem. However, check your work. You have no line for R in the word "EARTH" How about "R ender them happiness and a sense of worth" for that missing line. Just a suggestion among many possibilities.

Robert, how can I thank you for "having my back"??? I still haven't learned that I cannot not multi task as I am forced to do most times, when it comes to my writing.. Thanks for the suggestion also..I appreciate it very much but chose another line. Much love, Annalise
