The Yemeni Thinker

That egotism of yours would move mountains
The size of that head surpassed human countings
After mind numbing, energy sucking observation
I came to my own witty conclusion
That:
You carry yourself with such unwavering pride
With a look, a smile, and something to hide
You lead your own exclusive life
You the hunter, and he the knife
Like a god you trek upon that floor
Like a leopard you set your grounds
Like a cunning wolf you prance around
And with you walks two other hounds
You stare down your prey with fear
Making it lost, making it scared, making it to adhere
For owning it and scoring it is what you do best
As I look at you confusion arouse
What goes on in that head of yours I ponder, I browse?
As you sit there an eye shot a way like a thinker
I stand there but inches away playing Sherlock Holmes
Ha! But look at me now, instead I sit hear and compose poems
Trying to discern that hidden puzzle
Like always, I am sadly left confounded
Breathless, helpless and pressingly astounded
For you are “10 books written in different language,
All beautiful and difficult to understand.”
And me the helpless mosquito scrutinizing in to your light, simply astounded.!!
For with you there is always a smile, a look and something to hide.
