The Cycle of Judges

This is a weird pattern

Here's how it begins,

Israel's getting stubborn

Performing many sins.

Abandoning their God

On the wrong path they went

God became really angry

So He sent punishment.

Now that this happened

They are losing many lives

"Please God make this stop!"

An Israelite cries.

They needed compassion

but with a little nudge

God sent to deliver them

a very helpful judge.

Stopping all the sin

did the judge in a hurry

but soon death would take him

this judge would be buried

Now the judge is gone

It's the end of this song

So now I'll rep this beat

Cause this pattern they'll repeat!
