pearlescent moonbeams
satin spools unravelling
through dark threads of trees
fragile crocheted filaments
luminous lunar lacework

scattered sequin stars
bright beads on night's black fabric
silken starlight strands
darn darkness with silver yarn
moonlight's purled embroidery

    Anthropomorphising moonlight is an interesting stretch---but why not?? You stretch my own imagination for subjects, so there is a double benefit in reading your fine stuff. Then, of course, your willingness to explore various forms, while keeping the work personal, is also a not insignficant achievement. I am well down your list, now, and the appetite is still acute.

    Oh wow! This is a real beauty, Charlotte! I think you deserve major points for the uniqueness that you wove in here-- I can just imagine this beautiful tapestry-- very awesome take and I really enjoyed your alliteration here-- I would not be surprised at all if this is at the top :D!     by the way. Are you joking? The site syllable counter actually did not count these words as two syllable words. That is ridiculous. I sure hope judges are using their own NOGGINS to determine our syllable counts and not relying on the stupidity of that counter!
