    Hi John, I think all kinds of stuff reading this like nature at least kills to eat while man kills for fun or something that isn't his. Love both of the critters you write about. We are to have rain today and the sun is shining, will soon be a desert if it doesn't come soon. So little snow all winter and very little spring rain; what does it mean for the summer drought. Will we have anything to eat. How are you my friend? Love, Elizabeth

    NIce one, john. and I would also say spotted by spotted owl. haha (but that doesn't sound as elegant!) Thanks for my "nomination" to parody Christmas songs. Before I began writing "real" poems in 2000, I used to just do song parodies here and there. In fact, my very first post at Soup is called "I Heard Mother" It's spoofing "I saw Mother kissing Santa" Type it in and see what you think. I want to try to remember your challenge to me and do Feliz Navidad sometime!!
