The Dividing Fence
There is a castle
Atop the sea.
Bathed in rays of light.
Like angels of
The heavens fair
Are there to make them bright.
And to the land
So gray and bleak
A dark cloud sits above
To make the people
Of this place
Long for heavens love.
A broken fence
Upon the beach
Points between the two
As if dividing
Light from dark
Whatever shall they do?
Don't forget there's always hope
Still round the corner
There may wait
A new road
Or a secret gate
What is thy people's fate?
