What is this word?
Cryptic, hidden, magical.
Just like the things
All around us everyday
Just like the creatures
From beyond time
The creatures from fairy tales.
The fire-breathing dragons
Who horde their treasure
Can be seen within everyone
As determination.
The majestic unicorn
With it's horn of wisdom
Will be stabled in you mind
In years to come.
The noble griffin
So strong and proud
Is like our father
With pride in his eyes.
The caring phoenix
With tears of healing
Remind me of
Our mothers heart
Is mystic such a word
We use only to describe tales?
I think mystic can be seen
Each and every day
In all of us
We portray
The mystical creatures
The creatures inside ourselves.
