    And oh how it lingers, a taste of warm air followedby that blast of cold. I think Spring fights to claim her place. A big bowl of soup is definitely the answer.

    I, too, know the effects of sunless days and drab surroundings...and cold, dusty, grainy winds. A hot cup/bowl of soup and a resolute change of mood definitely makes it all a little more bearable. Nice work.

    Thanks for your kind comment. Poetry flowing from gray dark depressive places seems harder to relinquish. I am grateful for poetry soup as a place where all types of feelings can be expressed without judgement.

    I think LOTS of people are Tony, but lots of them don't know it. SAD is very prevalent in the sunless states. I've used "happy lights" for years, they help a bit...your poetry helps a bunch.
