OVER COMING THE SELF
In the time it takes to crack a smile I had made up my mind .
To live my life , my way , my style and to leave yours behind
In the time it take a tear to fall you had fallen behind
because the slightest move echo's for miles , inside a suspicious mind
so take all the concerns on your brow, now match them with mine
gather all those broken pieces and go follow that sign
because I wont live in your fear's reflections , I just wont hold that line
you're yesterday , you are not tomorrow and as for today I decline
In the time it takes to close my eyes , the deed is done ,
in the name of liberation , I will follow the sun
I am the flame I'm the transition , I seek , I find
that perfect style of inner smile , to unbind my mind
