Decking the Halls

DECKING THE HALLS

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care
Christmas ornaments lay strewn everywhere

The tree is up, the lights are on
Now to hang the ornaments that are so strewn

Garland and tinsel all in its place
The angel atop the tree in its position of grace

There's the Christmas Village replete with train
A mountain and a lighthouse are its latest gain

And now for the most important thing
The arrival of the King of Kings

The Christ-child born in a stable lowly
Now come, Lord Jesus, make all this Holy
