strugaling

a time alone yet surrounded,
a mind that feels impounded,
so much on my mind without no time,
so i thought id express it in a rhyme.

i used to drink to forget, but never forgot to drink,
and lower and lower my morals would sink,
id forget the bills, rent and debts,
instead id adopt a case of torretts.

waking up drunk without a clue,
of no more knowing in life what to do,
returning to a place where i feel at ease,
the alcohol again becoming a disease.

dropping me once more down to my knees,
the voices again begin to tease,
help me lord for i cant go on,
with the alocholics ballard song.

Probably the knee is one of the best places to start; nice poem, thank you!
