Thanks for your comments today. Your husband is copping out by claiming he did the cooking and the dishes when you went out to eat. Get him an apron for Christmas! Love, Carolyn

Thank you for your comments Sara. I love hominy and I thought perhaps grits would taste like it. I tried grits just once in a restaurant and could not eat it. Maybe it wasn't cooked right. Love, Joyce

It could have been worse. The gas stove that my grandmother use to have would have been a lot harder to clean. Nothing like grits and fried fish in the morning, just showing my southern roots.

Grits!? What are they? Is it something you grind your teeth on?

Awwwww! There goes a nice pot of grits. Haven't had any grits in years being raised in Fla. and moved to Canada when I was 28yrs. old. They don't even know what they are up here. I learned to subsitute creme 'o' wheat for grits. A moving piece for a Southerner. God Bless, JB ;)
