About This Poem
HOW RICH WE ARE
How rich we are but it’s not of this world
It’s not about diamonds it’s not about pearls
It’s all about what’s living inside
It’s about being changed to a beautiful bride
It’s all about changing two into one
Being made into the image of Gods own son
That the peoples of the earth only see
Jesus alive that’s how it will be
Many seek riches but it’s not about
Having things about which we can shout
We need to surrender to disappear
So that Jesus can appear
His love flowing freely touching this one and that
His Kingdom grows and that’s a fact
Things happening now for all to see
Will we surrender you and me
To our heavenly Father our lives He gave
Will we stand firm submit and be brave
How rich we are but it’s not of this world
It’s not about diamonds it’s not about pearls
We can be part of Gods Kingdom you see
We need to submit and be changed
You and me
