About This Poem
Waiting On A Hopeful Soul
I confess to you, bartender
Sadness in a sparkling glass
Full of stars with nameless faces
I...??? - Lonely Soul without compass
I pour my heart, you keep the change
I see winter chasing dreams
Wrinkled heart is out-of-business
Please don't lock the door for screams!!!
Don't mind me for closing minutes
Here and now ...Set the alarm!
Married to a beautiful facade
Emptiness replaces wing with arm
Bottled "What If.'s?.." labeled , sealed,
Wired tightly, placed underground
I dream of glittered round grapes on vines
I sense my destined still hovering around...
for Natalie's Contest:"Confession To A Bartender"
