The Trick

He stood on stage silent,
his presence was violent,
his body trembled in fear.
A slight puff of grey smoke,
His sharp words came out choked,
"I'm certain I'll disappear."
The magician's fierce stare,
The dark theater's seats bare,
"Another crowd gone, Oh Dear."

Congrats. Robert on this rather unique approach. When I was a child I was fascinated by magic and magicians. Saw every show I could get into. Hugs, Vie
