The Gift of Friends
A friendship is a special gift
that on sad days gives you a lift
And keeps you from falling off that cliff
A friendship lives within the heart
Sometimes you don’t know when it starts
But you know it's there when they do not depart
When you are down and have a frown
You can be thankful you have a friend around
