Monkey and me

My monkey and me,
were hanging out in a tree.
we hung out so long,
that he grew a strong,
res-em-belance to me.

That's not where it ends,
but rather where it bends.
we left both our lives,
and left by our wives,
still stayed best of friends.

So what shall we eat,
neither can cook a meat.
I'll pick from your fur,I know you'll concurr
A bountiful harvest of fleas!
