I am just a small tooth, on the small gears of life. You're just a chipped tooth, that stands out in my eye. You've nothing significant, every time you pass by. But still I remember you, and can't explain why.
It's as though you're my brother, my family or friend. But destined by fate, to fade away in the end. For nobody loves you, and nobody cares. We all simply mingle, in the time that we share. When it comes down to happiness, we have only ourselves. So don't waste your time, crying for help.
If your creator had loved you, he'd have given you wings. But yet you're left lonely, to face everything. He giggles and smiles, at our shortly lived lives. And leaves us with questions, seeking truth out of lies. Some call it tough love, others unfair. No matter how you spin it, conflict will be there.
For what doesn't kill us, will help make us stronger. And it's lifes simple pleasures, that keep us here longer. Through trial and error, we find who we are. And our faith, love or hate, guarantee we'll go far. Whether Christian or atheist, we all believe something. But when it comes to where we'll go, it boils down to just one thing...
We take nothing in life, that we gain on this earth. So live a good life, from the day of your birth. For when life comes and passes, all you've known will be gone. So grip tightly your beliefs, and always hold on. If you know not where you stand, and feel like you fell. Then my friend I salute you, and bid you farewell.
For life is a tale, often too hard to tell. So to all a goodnight, and I'll see you in hell...
For life is a tale with so much left unspoken. So as long as I'm here, my mind remains open.
