About This Poem
Just Pondering
Secretly in my heart I am weary
I ponder my purpose from God above
even though I know God's love
this life at times is still teary
I know my life has not been in vain
but I still feel lost on this earth
I have been this way since birth
It's God's love that keeps me sane
Counting my blessings in this life
to a stranger I do openly smile
hoping in their heart it stays awhile
a smile back would be twice as nice
So is this my purpose from God
to spread a little kindness and love
sent to us from the big guy above
if this is the plan I could use a nod
