Letter to myself
Dear you,
i watched you walk down the road today
not meeting anyones eyes
staring at your feet
you seemed a million miles away
as you walked down that busy street
if i had looked into your eyes, what would i see?
have they got that glazed effect so no-one can tell?
Are they brimming with tears and sadness?
Or are they full of anger, telling me to go to hell?
Whats going on in your heart?
Is it breaking beyond repair?
Has it blocked out any feeling at all?
Does it feel like no-one cares?
You had on a long top
What are you hiding under your sleeves?
Is it something you dont want people to see?
Or are you just keeping warm from the breeze?
You seem to be fading in front of me,
and no-one seems to care
But one day things will get better
You will find someone to be there
