I am
I am who I am and I cant change that.
Maybe I don't want to.
I used to try,
I stretched myself thin,
trying to make myself into something I'm not,
but when i finally snapped back
I realized that there is no one in the world I rather be than myself
I am who I am
I am this heart
with all the pain and desire and hope it contains
I am this soul that burns bright and deep
I am these tears that run for everything i have lost
I am the words I write
I am my mistakes and i am my triumphs
I grow from my past and strive for my future
I am everything
yet sometimes I still can't help but feel like nothing.
