Cast Off Thoughts

Cast off, thoughts of yesterday, of childhood and innocence. Leave behind, silly dreams. They hold no place in the present. Of child hood and innocence, I use to believe. They hold no place in the present, where reality is all, it seems. I use to believe, they held a power all their own, where reality is all it seems, on this side of the looking glass. They held a power all their own. Perhaps, I could reach out, on this side of the looking glass. Maybe then, I will recall. Perhaps, I could reach out? Leave behind silly dreams? Maybe then I will recall, cast of thoughts, of yesterday.

A very deep, introspective pantoum here, Paula. Hmmmm, it almost dips into an empty sort of angst, but manages to come out of the tailspin. Great thoughts! Boy oh boy, your muse has really been grabbing hold of you lately, eh?
