Side By Side

We got married last Friday
My girl was right there beside me;
Our friends were all gone
We were alone
Side by side.

We were so happily wed when
We got ready for bed then;
Her teeth and her hair
She placed on a chair
Side by side.

One glass eye so tiny
One hearing aid so small;
Then she took one leg off
And placed it on a chair near the wall.

I stood there broken hearted
For most of her had departed;
I slept on the chair
For most of her was there
Side by side.

Not mine!

    What an amazing imagination you have! This is kinda hysterical, I guess... I'll certainly never think of 'side by side' in quite the same way again!!! :)

    LOL, love it - I thought it was going to end with him saying, 'You know what I want, love, throw it over here.'
