The Lost Musketeer

Strode the red with a somewhat elegant stance.
Posture strut, apparel of a musketeer from France.
Outstanding panache surely caught the glance
Of the staring virgins, of the glaring aunts.
Flipped the cattle into a ga ga trance....
Did I make a wrong landing, by the faintest chance?
For the ga ga now seemed more like a look of askance.
Clearly, I was an optical nuance.

Cute one..I got a chuckle..Good to start the day with some humor..Enjoyed..Thanks for stopping by, reading, and giving a kind review..Hussain, this site has had some problems..It is somewhat long story but I had gotten into a routine on here..It was comfortable then the site's problems began..They say that one of the problems was a viral attack..I would login and get so frustrated..So my comfort zone became very uncomfortable..Sara

What a strangely cool poem Hussein. Was this like a UFO landing ? I'm not sure I understand it completely, esp. the Ga-Ga thing but I've always loved the Musketeers and Lady Gaga so it got my attention as did your comments on my "Sanibel Island." Thanks for reading/commenting and I'll be sure to return here more to follow your interesting style of poetry. Thanks again and seriously - nice poem.

So clever Hussain, all you forgot were the "ants" but you told the story with class. I love these things where every end word rhymes and you did a great job. PS. I saw your comment on Terry's poem to me and thank you for your sweet comment. I feel so privileged to have you people as friends. You are becoming very dear to me.

The thought did occur to me, I swear, but our friend Terrell beat me to it. Your comments have always been a booster for me, this is one of the reasons I now make frequent visits to poetrysoup. For whatever its worth, you have won a truly sincere friend in the east.
