pride of Ephraim

"a Didactic Tanka"

   bright were the arrows,
      struck the pride of Ephraim.
          Ephraim harlot…
`pride she stood, as city’s queen,
               `pride’s econ, icon no more.

                 For Carolyn
                 A Contest: Remembering 9/11

My heart goes out for the sake of innocent lives lost in this inferno. In no way, is my verse meant to be insensitive to this tragedy of innocent lives lost. I just want to write about the higher precept reason, misunderstood, behind the game and not the end human concept stress. Love's energy policy must be balanced it has damages imposed in the economics of the human concept of greed. It is only that I think this game to be fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Read in Jeremiah Chapter 51:11-14 kjv to justify the prediction of which I speak. The world monetary policy led by America is the image of a prostitute.(c kjv Rev. Chapter 17&18) This economy as is must be destroyed. (Rev. 17:16-18)

John, I do believe the terrorists saw the World Trade Center as an icon of greed. Your entry is unique and thought-provoking with a different point of view. Congratulations on your second-place win! Love, carolyn
