fruit of youth

 Fragments of tender loves,
summers of springs; which
were young, long ago

Raindrops so fragile,
so fragrant
the first of lasts
winter's snow

We inhaled the air
as it lifted us, to a newness
that is never new twice

Season's lusty whispers
as flowers unfold,
we danced
the robin's ravish song,
Still, 'tis you which remains
in memories dawn

tasting slowly to savor
the sweetness, I still can taste;
vivid youth, of the fruit
devoured the first time from my plate
